Summer budget

Please see our summary following yesterday's Budget. 

This was the first all Conservative budget since November 1996 and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, took the opportunity to set out the Conservative policies based on their electoral mandate. 

It is rare to have a second budget in the year but due to a change in government, the Chancellor is taking this opportunity to enact this government's policies.
