Some people dismiss social media as something that youngsters use or that is not relevant to their business.
However there is no doubt that when news events happen you can increasingly find out about them quicker via social media sources than more traditional sources. You can also get a different flavour, reading about something from multiple points of view rather a single editorial source.
So at Prime we are now using Social Media in an organised and planned way rather than the haphazard way that we and many businesses started with.
We are therefore making sure as far as possible that our Facebook page and Twitter feeds are updated regularly to provide our followers with the latest information on changes in legislation, budget/tax updates, or just the activities going on at Prime.
This allows clients and contacts to interact and share our messages to a wider audience. A different platform sends a different message, therefore it is important that the tone and message is appropriate to the platform used. This is summarised here using a donut as an example topic.
