MIPIM development

22 Mar 2018

I am so proud to be living and working in Solihull when I read of the fantastic new plans for growth and development. The town centre’s master plan, showcased at the recent MIPIM international property conference identifies the potential for up to 1,400 new homes, over 70,000 sq m of new office space and 11,000 sq m of commercial and leisure space.

Already, occupier demand and low retail vacancy rates have helped put our borough on the international map. We have a strong workforce and exceptional connectivity which has been recognised by leading international companies such as BNP Paribas, RWE nPower and Tesla.

And our transport infrastructure is receiving a boost with work into the feasibility of the development around Solihull train station which would support projected rail passenger growth to three million passengers per annum by 2043 and related commercial opportunities.

There really has never been a better time to be a Silhillian.
