Solihull Chamber News Column - 10th august 2017
As Brexit becomes a reality, the Chamber of Commerce’s International Hub is stepping up its drive to encourage and help businesses to export. There is a growing international demand for UK goods and services and there is a willingness from UK businesses to meet that demand.
UK Export Finance has announced that it is to establish a partnership with banks to deliver support directly to their trading customers which will increase opportunities for Solihull businesses.
As North America becomes a vital market to explore, the new Mayor of the West Midlands led a West Midlands trade mission to the fast-growing market in Toronto during a recent visit to Canada. The trade mission will serve as a useful follow-up to the meaningful talks the Chamber’s British American Business Council has had in Chicago recently.
Businesses who would like help and support to export should check out the Chamber’s international business hub which can be found at https://www.greaterbirminghamchambers.com/international
