Solihull Chamber News Column - 22nd June 2017
Just when we thought it was safe to go into the waters of economic trade, we are again being battered by political uncertainty.
Our business members tell us this new period of indecision will affect all the major choices which companies have to make, particularly on export and import. We are still reeling from the uncertainty caused by Brexit and the original announcement of the General Election.
However the Chamber’s Quarterly Business Report has seen record levels of confidence from local businesses in recent months.
And we will continue to work on behalf of Solihull companies, stepping up to this latest challenge. On a national level we will be working with the British Chambers of Commerce to take our message to the heart of Westminster. On a local level we will be directly challenging Solihull MPs and asking them to step up and deliver for local businesses in the borough.
