Prime apprenticeship schemes
Apprenticeship schemes can be a valuable way for employers to expand their staff and is something Prime has recently had great success in.
Apprenticeships enable us to train staff in a structured, supported way that has a proven track record of benefiting the individuals and the organisation - whilst supporting local people in their search for employment.
The firm's success in recruiting and training staff speaks for itself. One administration apprentice started with Prime as a receptionist, she passed her qualifications and had now progressed to be an integral member of one of our Virtual Accounts Office teams working on management and year end accounts. Another who started as an office junior has passed her professional tax qualifications and is now our Tax manager.
Prime has expanded in recent years with apprentices playing a vital role in the growth of the firm. We are currently in the process of selecting two administration apprentices and at present have tow accounts apprentices that are working towards their AAT qualifications. All four of these have been recruited using the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) online matching services. The process has been supported by local colleges and we have developed a strong relationship with the training providers and their staff.
Our apprentices are on a mixture of day release and workplace taught programmes - depending on the qualification. They are fully supported by Prime's HR function as well as the training providers assessors.
