Prime appoints two new directors!

Here at Prime we are proud to be one of the regions leading independent firms of Chartered accountants and business advisors. In order to cement this position and in-line with our strategy for growth, we have continually developed and promoted our staff. We are delighted to announce that we have done so again, and have appointed two of our Senior Managers, Jeremy Kitson and Steve Harcourt, to Directors of the firm, taking affect from  1st July 2017.

Both Steve and Jeremy will take up the role as relationship director for their own portfolio of clients. A role which they are well positioned to do, having handled client affairs on a day to day basis for many years now.

Following the promotions, Prime will have a board of 10 directors and a team of over 80 staff across our two offices in Coventry and Solihull.

Jeremy (pictured) joined Prime in 2000 as a trainee in our audit and accounts department having completed a BA Honours degree in Business Studies. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and has been an audit and accounts manager since January 2005.

Jeremy has dealt with a broad range of clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, IT, charity, healthcare, automotive, construction and property, transportation, leisure and education.

Steve (pictured) joined Prime in 2007; having previously gained ten years’ experience working for Coventry based Chaplin Hall, a firm which Prime later acquired.Steve gained an honours degree at Middlesex University and has extensive experience of all aspects of accounting including cash flow reporting and compiling internal financial reports. Steve manages the entire outsourced virtual accounts office for one of the region’s leading tourist attractions. 

An approachable and commercially astute accountant, Steve is focused on offering clients added value. He has particular expertise in the Engineering and Construction sector.
