Our Xero workshop at the Apple store

Prime Accountants Group were recently invited to host a workshop at the Apple store in Solihull. The event was held in order to showcase the cloud based software to potential new users, as well as highlighting the usability of the application on a variety of Apple platforms. Surprisingly, the majority of accounting software was previously unusable on Apple machines until the introduction of cloud based software such as Xero.

Laurence Moore, one of our Xero experts here at Prime, presented a demo of the software to the group of attendees in addition to answering any Xero questions the potential users had. The workshop was warmly received with excellent feedback from participants.

As computers advance it’s easy to see how integrated technology has become in the day to day lives of most of us. The accounting industry is no different, so in order not to get left behind accounting software providers and accountants have adapted to keep up with the ever changing status quo. None more so than Xero and Prime! At the forefront of change Xero has utilised the cloud to provide its software to users and now with the use of Apple products, albeit iPads, Macbooks, iPhones, Xero is now available almost everywhere, on almost anything, making it easier to run your business on the go. Here at Prime we welcome this way of thinking and have always thought of ourselves as early adopters of technology and Xero.

Prime recently became the first business to receive platinum accreditation from Xero within the West Midlands; we look forward to using this status to host future events in raising awareness of the software’s capabilities.

The use of Xero software on Apple platforms highlights the progressive approach of the organisation, a key factor which influences our support of the software.

Prime has been utilising Xero since 2009, with 15 certified advisors in-house. If you are a potential or existing user and wish to find out more about the software, gather advice or outsource this function, please contact Laurence Moore on [email protected]
