Here at Prime we have always taken our corporate social responsibility very seriously and over the years have taken part in various charity challenges, which have seen us cycling for very long distances.
This weekend a team from Prime consisting of Morgan Davies, Jamie Skelding, Glen Callow, Steve Harcourt, Kerrie Given and Jonathan Stobart will once again be getting on the saddle. However this time we won’t be riding far, but will be riding for a very long time.
The team is taking part in a challenge known as Cyclone24 and will see at least one member of the team cycling around the velodrome in Derby for an entire 24 hour period, from 12pm Saturday 3rd February to 12pm on Sunday 4th February. Track cycling is a challenge itself and it’s expected the team will rotate on 15 minute intervals, which is likely to mean no sleep throughout the challenge, testing our mental and physical strength.
We challenge ourselves in this manner for the benefit of our nominated charities; it would be greatly appreciated if you supported us by donating to our fundraising page, which is accessible here
